What is Constipation ? How its Treated ?


Constipation is a condition in which patient has to face many problems while going for the toilet. In this condition patient gets toilet only once or twice in a week. And also toilet is very hard and needs to apply much pressure to pass the toilet. Even after sitting for long time for toilet patient doesnt gets satisfaction.

Constipation usually takes after the age of 50. But as person crosses age of 70 20./. – 30./. People suffer from the constipation. Constipation can also occur if you eat unhealthy food in wrong way. Sometimes when person is suffering from fever, malaria or stomach pain than also they can get constipation.

Some Females may get constipation in pregnancy also. Very common reasons seen for constipation are lack of exercise, drinking less water, less fibre in your diet, level of calcium goes high in your body, if you control toilet for longer time, sitting at one place for long time etc. This are some of the reasons for constipation.


If you are suffering from constipation than it is very important that you take care of your daily diet. To avoid constipation drink more water, do exercise, go for morning walk, include fibres like fruits and vegetables in your daily food item, use indian commods instead of western commods.


Drinking more water will make your toilet soft. If your not getting pressure in morning with the empty stomach than first have light breakfast and try to go for toilet. Include 20-30grms of fibre in your daily meal. Do not eat food at any time. Do not keep much gap between two meals of your day.


Common symptoms of constipation are:-
Constipation takes place for long time and it occurs again and again. Blood falls with the toilet. Patients starts loosing weight. Also blood starts decreasing in the body.

Constipation is very common problem. Constipation also occurs with some of the disease like malaria, fever, etc. Constipation is most commonly seen in childrens when they get teeth.
